What is Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil Eucalyptus Radiata is commonly known as Black Peppermint Oil. It contains 60-75% 1, 8 cineol, and has a wide range of useful therapeutic properties. It cannot be used as a Dietary Supplement and should not be used when pregnant or breastfeeding. What is the difference between Eucalyptus Radiata vs Eucalyptus Globulus The difference between the two really comes down to their aromas as therapeutic benefits are similar. Eucalyptus Radiata has less 1,8- cineole, making it less aggressive in therapeutic benefits. Its aroma is sweeter, fruity, with citrus notes. Eucalyptus Globulus is usually more popular in aromatherapy due to higher cineole content and its traditional scent, which is strong, sharp, and fresh with green, almost sour notes. (Q) Can I use this oil to my lip balm, face cream, DIY projects or etc. (A) Yes. But dilute properly. (Q) Can I apply this oil directly to my skin (A) It is always recommended to dilute properly. Undiluted use of essential oils on the skin can be harmful and potentially cause severe irritation or sensitization. Using 2% essential oil dilution is generally considered as a safe guideline for topical application of essential oils on adults (Q) Can I ingest (A) Do not ingest unless under the guidance of a qualified health care practitioner who has received the necessary training in this very specialized mode of administration
