Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream is a white cream
Do not use if: •The patient is under the age of 10 years without consulting your doctor. •You have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients. •You have any other skin problems such as cold sores, acne, herpes, chicken pox, or shingles. •Your skin is broken. •Do not use on large areas of your body or under dressings. •Do not use for more than 7 days. •Do not use on your face, eyes or mucous membranes. •Do not use on the anal or genital area, unless your doctor has told you to. •Do not use to treat ringworm, unless your doctor has told you to. •Do not use to treat any other infections which occur as a result of your original infection, unless your doctor has told you to. •Avoid contact with eyes. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist
Adults and children aged 10 years and over, apply a small amount of the cream on the affected area(s) twice daily. Rub it in gently until the cream has disappeared. Do not use for more than 7 days
To avoid further outbreaks: •Keep the area well ventilated and dry from moisture •Good hygiene practices should be followed •Changing your socks daily and washing any trainers which get hot and sweaty
